Beachboy is a Blue-yellow macaw currently under the care of Merazonia. Prior to his arrival, Beachboy and his brother had been stolen from a wild nest in the Amazon, intended to be sold as pets. Fortunately, the authorities managed to rescue the birds but sadly, one chick didn’t make it. Beachboy was then sent to Merazonia Wildlife Refuge where he had a beautiful transformation and will hopefully live a semi-wild life one day.
