Beautiful Puma Pangui is a permanent resident of Merazonia Wildlife Refuge. Before being rescued, Pangui had been kept as a tourist attraction for many years. She was kept in a cage barely big enough to turn around in and, as expected, was in terrible condition.

Although Pangui has since recovered and is in prime condition, release sadly isn’t an option because she is too habituated to humans. Instead, Merazonia provides her with the peace and solitude she deserves, in her secluded enclosure, deep in the jungle.
