Pepi arrived to Merazonia at just 2 months old. She had been found clinging to her dead mother after she had most likely been shot down from the rainforest canopy for bushmeat. Since arriving to Merazonia in early 2023, Pepi has transformed from weak and vulnerable, into a sassy young howler monkey with a real zest for life! Pepi now spends her days with her loyal sidekick Frodo, as they zoom around their enclosure, training themselves up for their lives in the wild when they are older.
